Karat Digital Press which features in-line imaging and delivers the highest offset quality.
The Karat provides all the advantages of digital printing and the quality to meet or exceed
traditional offset printing. The technology which governs this press provides fast turnarounds,
exceptional print quality, color accuracy, reduced printing costs, and affordable
short-run printing.
Brilliant Color
The 74 Karat opens a new chapter in digital print production, utilizing digital technology
to achieve predictable, high-quality color. The project file, the proof and the printed sheet,
all match the preliminary color specifications provided by the customer and calibrated directly
to the digital press. The color management system provides uniform dot structure and exact detail
rendering.
Color from the 74 Karat Digital Press can be perfectly matched on Pond-Ekberg's traditional
offset presses, giving you the ability to economically have a short print run which can later
be matched with a large press run.
