A Tradition of Printing Excellence
Pond-Ekberg has always looked upon the horizon and anticipated the sunrise.
In 1916, John D. Pond had the entrepreneurial spirit to open his own
printing company in the barn behind his home in Agawam, Massachusetts. He
was soon joined by his friend Carl N. Ekberg. They were so successful, that
within two years they incorporated as The Pond-Ekberg Company and moved to a
rented facility in Springfield.
In 1928 the company erected their own building in Springfield. Pond and Ekberg worked diligently and earned the reputation of providing their customers with the finest offset printing services in the area.
A Leader in the Printing Industry
Today, the company they created continues their tradition of printing
excellence. Pond-Ekberg remains steadfast in its vision to produce the
highest quality products for its customers and has continually been a leader
in setting the standard for the rest of the industry. The Pond-Ekberg
Company and its staff of dedicated and talented professionals currently
occupy a modern 55,000 square foot facility, conveniently adjacent to Routes
291, 91, and the Massachusetts Turnpike, in Chicopee, Massachusetts.
